It is desperately and unavoidably uncomfortable, with the thinnest of seat padding over the metal frame (the quilted seat cover they offer doesn't help). However, by far the WORST thing about thing really aged aircraft is the angle-flat bed.
ICE screen is quite far away on the bulkhead and it's impossible not to be distracted by your neighbor's screen. The best thing about this flight is the wi-fi.
